A sad day for our DFW Pro Military Family
I just received sad news from one of my close friends that on our military appreciation day on Saturday the 19th Chris
Moore was killed in Iraq. Chris came out to the park with a company group from Irving to spend time with his friends
and family. He then shipped out to Iraq for his 2nd tour just a week or so later. Chris was a Bradley Tank
Commander in Iraq. On the 19th, he along with 4 other US Soldiers and 1 Iraqi translater ran over an IED, and all of
them were killed. He leaves behind 3 daughters - a 9 year old, a 7 year old, and a 4 year old. Our thoughts and prayers
are with you and your family Chris.

Thank you to the Military!!
The 19th is Armed Forces Day and we would like to send a thank you to all the people who have served our country.
We have set aside 20 rentals for any person who has been in or is active in any branch of the military to use for free.
All you have to do is pay for paint and play. You have to register on our website and state that you are military.
Once we have the 20 rentals given out we will post it. If you have been in the military or are active and have
your own equipment you get a free field fee and all day compressed air or 2 CO2 fills for free. This offer is only good
for the 19th and you must bring your military ID. And yes, the Coast Guard is part of the Military but cub scouts, brownies
and girl scouts are not. So, if you know of someone who has been in the service now is the time to get them out to play.

Yes I know...we are closed the next 2 weekends...
Ok so, that storm that blew through the DFW area.....well it hit the Park pretty good. We are cleaning up the fields
and doing some field tweaking while we have the time off. More news about the 19th soon.
